2023 Try-Out Information

 Try-out information for Alpine Knights 2023

ONLINE CLINIC: The try-out dance & cheer will be posted ONLINE (alpineknights.blogspot.com) for cheerleaders to learn on March 13, 2023.
IN-PERSON Try-Out:  March 20, 2023 OR March 22, 2023

Depending on what grade you're going into NEXT SCHOOL YEAR you will come at this day/time to try-out.

8th: March 20, 2023 6:00-7:00pm

9th: March 20, 2023 7:00-8:00pm

7th: March 22nd, 2023 4:00-5:00pm

5th/6th: March 22nd, 2023 5:00-6:00pm

1st/2nd/3rd/4th: March 22nd, 2023 6:00-7:00pm

MANDATORY Parent Info & Packet will be posted March 13, 2023! This packet will be posted on the blog and must be PRINTED and TURNED IN at your try-out on March 20 OR March 22, 2023.

To sign up & get your try-out number, text 801-227-4798 on March 13, 2023, with your FIRST & LAST NAME and school grade you're GOING INTO next year. Your try-out number will determine the order you try-out in. You will try-out in groups of 3 people. 

You will try-out with:

-running tumbling (if any)

-standing tumbling (if any)

-toe-touch

-optional jump (herdler or pike)

-try-out dance (will be posted on our blog)

-try-out cheer (will be posted on our blog)

TUMBLING IS NOT REQUIRED BUT IS STRONGLY INCOURAGED FOR OUR OLDER GRADES.

On the day of Try-Outs, March 20th OR March 22nd, 2023, cheerleader will need to wear black shorts or spankies, white shirt/tank (no writing or picture on it but a small logo is fine), hair in a high pony tail with any color cheer bow and cheer/tennis shoes.

Being apart of Alpine Knights cheer is a great way to get involved! Our cheerleaders will be in the Alpine and Highland Parade, cheer at football games, compete and make memories! We can't wait for the 2023 season! 

Important dates, season info and costs will be posted on our blog in our parent packet on March 13, 2023. You will need to print out the parent packet and bring it to try-outs with your $25 try-out fee.

Try-Out Checklist:

-Learn the try-out dance AND cheer from our blog.

-Print, fill-out and bring packet from our blog with $25 try-out fee. 

-Sign up for try-outs by texting 801-227-4798 on March 13, 2023 to get your try-out number.
